How it works: You reserve a Bristol Haven Farm quarter beef share today with a $350 non-refundable deposit. We reserve one of our cattle for you. In November, your beef will go to a USDA-certified butcher to be processed and packed in individual vacuum-sealed packages. Once your beef is ready, we will send you an invoice to collect the rest of the payment ($750). Then we will either deliver it to you or have it available for you at one of our local pick-up locations.
A quarter beef includes: Approximately 95 lbs. of our premium pasture-raised and grass-fed beef. A quarter beef share includes a selection of cuts, based on availability:
- 16 lbs. chuck roasts
- 2 lbs. sirloin steak
- 2 lbs. t-bone steak OR 1.5 lbs. mix of New York and tenderloin steak
- 4 lbs. rib steak
- 3 lbs. brisket
- 1 lb. skirt steak
- 1 lb. flank steak
- 50 lbs. ground beef
- 6 lbs. shank steak (also called meaty soup bones)
- 6 lbs. short ribs
- 4 lbs. stew meat
Pricing: Place your quarter beef deposit today for $350. Pay the rest ($750) when your beef is ready. Total amount: $1100.
Freezer Space: This quarter beef share will require approx. 4-5 cubic ft. of freezer space.
Please note that deposits are non-refundable as they are used to support the growth and care of a living animal, which is an irreversible process.
Option for beef bones and organ meat - please contact us before November if you'd like beef bones (for broth) or organ meat and we will include it for FREE with your beef share purchase.
